i woke up laughing

but i couldn't cuz i was awake,
back in my root dimensions

i woke to the phone ring slicing

right through the dinosaur head in my dream.

i knew it was you.

i woke blanketed

in my drawings
fallen from the walls

when i started to wake, i felt like rain

coming out of a cloud that was my dream

i woke thinkin about hugging

and how the best hug is when it is long enough that
our beings vibrate energy with each other

i woke, feeling like bubblegum

being chewed in the rhythm
of my breathing
and i felt so soft
